MGTEI is led by Dr. Ambar Cipolloni, Ed.D., the founder and director of the Infant & Toddler (0-3) program and Dr. David Cipolloni, Ph.D., the co-founder and director of the Early Childhood (2.5-6) program.

DR AMBAR CIPOLLONI

Founder & Director of the Infant & Toddler (0-3) Program

Dr. Ambar Cipolloni has a doctoral degree in Education (Ed.D.) from Nova Southeastern University, a Ph.D. In Theology & Christian Counseling, and a Master of Education: Montessori philosophy emphasis. She holds the AMS credentials for the Infant/Toddlers and Early Childhood levels and teacher certificates from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education at New Rochelle College, NY; the AMS credential for the Elementary I (6-9) level and teacher certificate from the Maitland Montessori Teacher Education Program; and the MACTE credential for the Elementary II (9-12) level and the teacher certificate from the Age of Montessori. She was an Assistant Professor for the Department of English and World Languages and Culture Studies at Bethune-Cookman University for 11 years where she also chaired the Modern Languages Department. Dr. Ambar Cipolloni is a founder of the ACS Educational Resources and Consultant, a headmaster of the Montessori Global Research Institute, and the MGTEI I/T (0-3) program director and instructor.  She has vast administrative, training,  and consulting experience in her areas of expertise and is a participating recipient of the national Sally Provence Award in recognition of excellence in program achievement for 0-3 children and families at Pierson Montessori Center, Florida.

DR DAVID CIPOLLONI

Founder & Director of the Early Childhood (2.5-6) program.

Dr. David Cipolloni has is a Doctor of Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) from Walden University and a Master of Arts in Education/Psychology. He holds an AMS credential for the Early Childhood level and a teacher certificate from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education at New Rochelle College, NY. David Cipolloni is a co-founder of the ACS Educational Resources and Consultant, a headmaster of the Montessori Global Research Institute, the director of the MGTEI Early Childhood Development and Education (0-6) program, and the EC (2.5-6) program director and instructor.  Dr. Cipolloni is an author, a retired Assistant Professor at Bethune Cookman University, where he worked for 9 years, a consultant for agencies in the community, and possesses vast administrative and consulting experience in early childhood development and education. He is a conference presenter and recipient of the national Sally Provence Award in recognition of excellence in program achievement for 0-3 children and families at the Pierson Montessori Center, Florida.

MR OMAR SALEH

Director of Administration

Mr. Omar Saleh, the director of administration for the Montessori Global Teacher Education Institute, holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Stetson University. Prior joining Montessori Global’s Teacher Education team, Mr. Saleh worked as an operations lead for a large-scale Healthcare Utilization Management company. Though a career change saw Mr. Saleh change industries to serve in the Childcare field, Mr. Saleh comes with extensive Montessori experience and understanding, and experience as a leader in a higher-education setting.

MS AMAL SALEH

Finance Manager

Ms. Amal Saleh joins the Montessori Global Teacher Education Institute (MGTEI) team as the Director of Finance Operations. She oversees and maintains all areas of finance for MGTEI. While Ms. Saleh is new to Montessori, she is eager to support the advancement of Montessori education through MGTEI. Ms. Saleh holds a Master of Arts degree from George Washington University.

MRS SOPHIA DORMAN

Practicum Coordinator 

Mrs. Dorman joined MGRI in 2017, she is an experienced administrator in the Montessori education field. With a solid background in school administration and a deep understanding of Montessori principles, Mrs. Dorman brings a unique perspective to coordinating and overseeing practical training experiences for aspiring Montessori educators. Her expertise and commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment ensures a seamless and enriching practicum program for our student teachers. Mrs. Dorman plays a vital role in shaping the future of Montessori education through her knowledge, leadership skills, and passion for empowering educators.

In 2020 MGTEI applied for accreditation with the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE) for the I/T (0-3) and EC (2.5-6) certification courses, being considered a candidate in good standing.  Note: “Applicant for Accreditation” status in no way determines the outcome of the accreditation decision by MACTE.
